Therapy That Celebrates Your Brain (Not Just Your “Progress”)

Imagine therapy that doesn’t start with a checklist of “what’s wrong” but with a genuine curiosity about who you are and what makes you tick. That’s the vibe here at The Perceptive Mind. I offer individual sessions for children, adolescents, and adults—yes, the whole spectrum of human quirks—and family sessions, too (with or without the client, depending on what’s most supportive). Each session is a 53-minute adventure in self-understanding, not self-correction.

My approach is simple: Seek to understand, not to fix. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re untangling decades of masking, figuring out how to parent a wonderfully complex kid, or just trying to make it through the week without losing your keys (again). Together, we’ll spot your successes—even the tiny ones—and celebrate them. This is a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming space, grounded in the wisdom of Dr. Robert Jason Grant and the AutPlay® Therapy framework. Here, we honor your unique wiring, validate your experiences, and build strategies that fit your actual life—not some imaginary “normal.”
